Basic Function

The appointed individual will conduct research (and disseminate findings) on how measures aimed at improving water quality in Irish agricultural systems may affect farmland birds, taking into account potential synergies and trade-offs.

This is job presents an opportunity to work on an EU (Horizon 2020) project called AGRI_Birds.

Location:  Crops, Environment and Land Use Research Centre, Teagasc, Johnstown Castle, Co Wexford, Y35 Y521

Salary: Research Officer with a Salary Scale of €37,808 to €72,999

Government policy continues to be that starting pay on recruitment from open competition for all posts within the public service should be at the minimum of the relevant salary scale and are not subject to negotiation.
